Shellea has been in the veterinary field for over 20 years. She has been a part of the Paws Family since 2009. She is passionate about her work and love for animals. Shellea is married with 3 children and 5 adorable grandchildren. She also has 4 fur babies at home, including 2 dogs and 2 cats.

Danielle
Lead Veterinary Technician; BS and FVMA Certified Veterinary Assistant
Danielle started at Paws right out of High School in 2007 as a Kennel Technician and Veterinary Assistant. She went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Integrative Animal Biology from The University of South Florida. Her love of animals led her back to join the Paws family in 2014. She has since worked her way up to become our Lead Veterinary Technician. Danielle and her husband, married in 2018, just bought their first home in Belleview. They are the proud parents of several Kitties and an adorable Bearded Dragon named Ernie. She loves to travel and spend quality time with friends and family.
Jennifer
Certified Veterinary Technician
Jennifer graduated from veterinary technician school in 2020. Working in the veterinary field is all she has ver dreamed about. Jennifer has 3 cats at home and hopes to build her animal family in the near future. She enjoys going on adventures, reading and spending time with family at home.

After owning my own business for 15 years in Massachusetts I decided to follow my passion for animals and went to school to become a CVA. After working in a few clinics, I worked my way up to being an internal medicine technician at a specialty hospital. Looking for a change I moved to Ocala.Before long I found my place at Paws Animal Hospital. I spend my spare time at the farm with my horse and with my other fur babies
Vilma
Veterinary Technician
Left the retail management world for animal medicine in 2015 and started as a kennel tech at a small clinic in Sorrento , Florida. Within a year was trained as a tech and promoted to clinic manager. In 2021 moved to Tallahassee and entered the world of emergency vet. medicine and worked in that field for a year until her husbands company moved the family to Phoenix Arizona where she worked as a tech until the callings of home brought her and her family back to their home state of Florida in August of 2024 and was welcomed to the Paws Family in Sept of that year. Villma has 3 fur babies -Aesop the Great Pyrenees, Fable the Boxer puppy, and Steve the stray tuxedo cat turned homebody.
Sydney
Veterinary Assistant / Kennel Assistant
Sydney joined Paws in 2020, she is working as a veterinary and kennel assistant part time while she attends the University of South Florida to pursue a career as a pediatric occupational therapist. She has a spoiled Siamese cat named Chip and a Labrador Retriever named Roxy.
Moe
Veterinary Receptionist
Moe is originally from Maine, she started in the veterinary field 20 years ago, working as a receptionist, assistant and veterinary technician. Moe moved to Lady Lake with her family in 2006, when she started working at Paws Animal Hospital. She has been married to her husband Tim for 32 years. Their daughter Kirsten is their pride and joy. She is now blessed with three beautiful grandbabies, Joselyn, Ariel and Lincoln. Moe also shares much love for her two cats, Kendra Lee and Nunna Beans.

Veterinary Receptionist
Sally joined the paws family in 2020. She has been in the veterinary field most of her life and she says she is just here for the puppy kisses.

Becca
Veterinary Receptionist
Becca has always had a love for animals and enjoys being part of a team that helps care for them every day. Outside of work, you’ll most likely find her riding and spending time with her horses, Austin and Skip, or spending time with her Great Pyrenees, Beau. She also loves relaxing and watching movies with her orange cat, Milo. When she’s not with her animals, Becca enjoys hanging out with her boyfriend and making trips to Disney for a little extra magic and fun.
